Works are starting on the grounds where the headquarters of the Surface Engineering area of CIDETEC will be built.

The building will be finished within ten months and will add 4,000m2 of new facilities to the 9,000m2 CIDETEC currently has at the Gipuzkoa Science and Technology Park in San Sebastian. 
These new facilities will be dedicated exclusively to the area of Surface Engineering, enabling the objective of making CIDETEC one of the leading entities in Europe in this area. The works represent an investment of seven million euros within the expansion project of CIDETEC, which in the 2015-2017 period plans to complete an investment of 12 million euros.
