CIDETEC Surface Engineering had an outstanding participation in the Subcontratación’19 Fair held at the Bilbao Exhibition Center on June 4, 5 and 6. The Subcontratación Fair is the largest international meeting held in the Basque Country on manufacturing processes and supplies for the industry.

The sum of seven fairs in the same space makes this fair the largest meeting point dedicated to Smart Manufacturing in Spain due to the coincidence of Subcontracting, Addit3d, Industry Tools by Ferroforma, BeDIGITAL, Maintenance, Pumps & Valves and Fitmaq.

CIDETEC´s stand was attended by representatives of numerous companies interested in the activity of the centre, which has allowed opening possibilities for collaboration with new customers and strengthen links with current customers. We must highlight the visit of Deputy General Markel Olano and the Deputy for Economic Promotion, Ainhoa ​​Aizpurua, who showed special interest in the activity related to post-processing in additive manufacturing.

Organization of the Reach Conference

In collaboration with AIAS, CIDETEC organized an informative day on the 5th day around the REACH regulation, which was attended by more than 40 professionals who expressed their satisfaction with the high quality of the presentations.

Talk on postprocessing in ADDIT3D

Representing CIDETEC Surface Engineering, Belén García gave a talk at the congress ADDIT3D entitled "Development of surface finishing methods for metallic pieces obtained by additive manufacturing techniques by means of powder bed fusion", which was followed with great interest by the large audience gathered.
