The AIRPOXY partners met for the M12 consortium meeting and General Assembly at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, which is situated in Athens, Greece, on 3-4 September, 2019. During the two-day meeting, the partners discussed the developments in the different work packages during the last six months of the project and planned the work and activities of the upcoming period.
This project, coordinated by CIDETEC and funded in the European program framework MG-1.3-2017: “Maintaining industrial leadership in aeronautics”, aims to reduce the production and maintenance costs of composite parts in the aeronautic sector by introducing a novel family of ground-breaking thermoset composites that preserve all the advantages of conventional thermosets, but can also be easily processed and repaired, and even recycled.
The meeting was held in parallel to the 9th EASN Conferences, where the project had a dedicated session to present the first research outputs.
