MetalMadrid is the leading annual industrial show tailored to meet the needs of today´s advanced manufacturers and suppliers.

The ECO-PROTECT poster participation took place in Madrid, Spain from 27th to 28th of November, 2019. The aim of this annual participation is dual. FINITEC ELECTROLISIS, S.L. (project coordinator) participating as exhibitor company of a wide variety of surface treatments, while in parallel was to communicate and disseminate with a poster presentation the progress of the project. Some partners, CHEMPLATE MATERIALS S.L. (Barcelona), CTME (Burgos) and CIDETEC Surface Engineering (San Sebastian) attended this event.

In addition, CIDETEC Surface Engineering also participated with an oral presentation entitled “Postprocessing a key factor for additive manufacturing” given by Jose Antonio Díez.

The ECO-PROTECT project aims to validate and improve REACH compliant alternative coatings (including the pre-treatment, also a crucial step) that can replace the currently Cr(VI) surface treatments for protection of aerospace Al alloys.
